Maine Vacation 2016 Day 4

We woke up in time to get breakfast. The Mira Monte always does a great job with egg bakes, oatmeal, and coffee. We said hello to a longtime family friend, Katherine, and talked with some of the other guests at the table.

Having a look at the weather, I decided it'd be best for us to take that day and go over to Schoodic Point in Winter Harbor. It's a breathtaking rock beach against the Atlantic.

Maine Vacation 2016 Day 3

We slept in a bit and checked out of our hotel at . It was a gorgeous, cloudless morning.

One last trip to The Country Diner. I had an enormous Mexican omelet with home fries and coffee. Colleen had a Monte Cristo (big ass French toast slices) and coffee. Haha, 15 bucks.

Maine Vacation 2016 Day 2

Having slept a solid 11 hours, we found that there was basically no continental breakfast to be had at our motel. We returned to The Country Diner. I had a delightful breakfast sandwich with home fries and coffee. Colleen had 2 eggs, sausage, home fries, and coffee. 11 bucks. On our way out of the restaurant, a regular patron and presumed Medway, Maine citizen correctly identified us with a grumble.

I'd love to help. Please take a look at my résumé.

To make things easier for myself, I wrote a simple Golden Ratio Calculator yesterday evening. I used Dojo Toolkit. It's got a slider that affects the size of a+b, and three number spinners for a+b, a, and b that will affect the other three when changed.

Toddlers and Tiaras Drinking Game

In an attempt to give you alcohol poisoning, the following is a set of rules for a Toddlers and Tiaras drinking game. It was devised sometime between this past Christmas and New Year's by Becky, Jessie, and myself.

… I encourage you to sip your drinks.

The rules are when the phenomenon is spotted, you have to call out the below bullet point and drink.

Falling Short

It infuriates me when people call out what they believe to be the shortcomings and misdeeds of others, yet conveniently ignore their own. Particularly on my mind is this: I'm a Christian, and I'm just disgusted by other Christians who speak out against the LGBT community in demeaning, threatening, or accusatory ways.

In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus himself is recorded as saying:
